Steve Banksy Banks
For over five decades, Steve Banks has been a familiar, trusted voice in the UK’s music and broadcasting scene. A true industry veteran, Steve’s journey began behind the decks as a mobile DJ, travelling nationwide and lighting up dancefloors in clubs, halls, and venues across the country. His instinctive feel for soul, disco, reggae, and classic floor‑fillers shaped a reputation built on energy, warmth, and musical knowledge that runs deep. Steve later brought that same passion to radio, working across multiple stations and becoming known for his friendly delivery, sharp wit, and unmistakable “Banksy” charm. Whether spinning late‑night grooves or uplifting morning anthems, he connects with listeners in a way only decades of experience can produce. Today, we proudly welcome Steve to the Studio 105 Soul family, where he launches his brand‑new breakfast show: “Banksy’s Bonkers Brekkie” Monday to Saturday – 7am to 10am Live every morning Expect feel‑good soul, golden classics, morning madness, and that signature Banksy humour to kick‑start your day.
