Music has always been part of Alan G’s life — thanks to parents and older sisters who filled the house with soul and funk.

In the early 90s he headed to Corfu for a change of scenery, working in a club where fate pushed him into the DJ booth for the very first time. One night, the resident didn’t show… Alan stepped in… and a DJ was born.

Five years later he returned to the UK, bought his own gear and hit the London circuit, playing pubs, clubs and private events.

Spain became home in 2001, where Alan continued spinning in beach bars and clubs until family life took priority. But in 2022 the spark reignited — first with a soul, funk and boogie show on Almeria Gold, then a Friday night slot on Almeria Radio, where he explored deeper house vibes mixed with classics from back in the day.

Today, Alan joins Studio 105 with Alan's G-Funk, Soul & R&B Sessions, bringing decades of passion, experience and pure love for the music.
